Poori Indian Fried Bread


This recipe video features a puri or Poori, which is the most common kind of Indian bread.Puri is unleavened bread made from dough of Maida( All purpose floor) or wheat floor.There are many varieties of puri, popular throughout India and rest of south east asia.This video show how to make traditional Indian Puri. You can find this puri everywhere from the street food to the marriages.

Puri is soft, palm size and puffed up like a pillow. It is served fresh, combines well with halawa, Dal, Bhaji or Korma.
